Wern Bihl will be giving a presentation on HTML5
Topics that will be covered:
· Whats new in HTML5.
· Benefits and practical examples of building functional cross-browser HTML5 apps today even though the standard isn’t finished yet.
· A quick 10second overview of every one of the new HTML5 tags and API features and what it looks like in different browsers.
· The new DOM structure and JavaScript.
· Some demos and code for working with the new API i.e. desktop dragging and dropping, cross-document talking, AJAX etc.
· Steps for changing what you are already doing in XHTML to HTML5 markup.

We will also be introducing a great new website DevCollab.org and those who attend will be given access to our invite-only beta run.
